What are the rules you should know before selecting the players on fantasy cricket league?11/19/2021 Have you just started playing on the fantasy cricket app? And you are confused with the rules and points system. Well, it happens with almost every beginner and you have come to the right place to know about it all.
There are certain things that you have to keep in mind before you start making your own team of 11 players. There is a lengthy set of rules but in this article, you will understand it in a better and short way. First and foremost, let us start with picking up players. You have to select at least one wicketkeeper. A minimum of 3 batsman and bowlers should make a place in your team, but not more than 6, respectively. Just like the wicketkeeper, an all-rounder is also a must for your team, and a maximum of 4 all-rounders can make it to your team. Last rule in terms of choosing players, you cannot choose more than 7 players from a single team, hence a minimum of 4 players are required. These rules are abided by almost all the fantasy sports app. Now let us come to the part where points are awarded to your players on the basis of their performance. You have 11 players in your team, and every player has to perform in order to take you to the top of the list. Also, you have to select your own captain and vice-captain who will fetch you more points than your normal players. Your captain will fetch you twice the point of other placers, same as well, your vice-captain will be awarded 1.5x points. In the fantasy points system, every action is awarded points. It is not just batting and bowling. Even a run out by a player will award your team certain points. A batsman is awarded one point after scoring a run and a bowler picks up 25 points after picking up a wicket. Likewise, a wicketkeeper bags 8 points after dismissing a batsman and same points are awarded to a fielder after he takes a successful catch. A run out fetches 10 points for the fielder; hence a good all-rounder can bag you points even when he is on the field. There are bonus points awarded to players too. For example, if a bowler takes 3 wickets, he gets an extra 2 points. Moreover, if he takes up 4 wickets, another bonus of 4 points is awarded to the player. 8 points and 4 points are awarded after a bowler picks up 5 wickets and bowls a maiden over, respectively. If you think you can ace this online game then you can download a fantasy app and start polishing your skills in cricket. It is a great tool to keep yourself linked with the cricketing world, and helps you add extra knowledge about the sport.
