Pak T20 League 2021: Peshawar vs Karachi, Eliminator 1, Match Prediction, Playing XI, Fantasy Picks6/21/2021 Peshawar and Karachi will lock horns in the second playoffs game of the day. Both sides finished third and fourth in the points table respectively. It’s an eliminator game and the winner of this game will face either Islamabad or Multan in the second eliminator game in the Pak T20 League 2021.
Defending champions broke their losing pattern in the final two games and clinched playoffs qualification at the last moment. Lahore’s poor form also helped them as they qualified through a better net run rate. Danish Aziz’s heroics created a big difference against Quetta as Karachi managed to hold the nerves in the end. He scored 45 off just 13 balls including 5 sixes and cleared the game for Karachi. They won five matches in league-stage and two wins came in their last two games. Their batting was tested by Quetta and one more time, Karachi failed to deliver. They have to fix out this because Peshawar is not Quetta. They have been a top side and reached into the final twice in Pak T20 League. Their batting revolves around Babar Azam who has scored 501 runs this season. On the other hand, Peshawar are coming off a good break and it will surely keep their players fresh. They put a great fight back against Islamabad and almost chased down 248. They also have five victories in the league stage but we can say, they were a better side than Karachi in Abu Dhabi. Akmal scored a half-century and Malik scored 68 off just 36 balls in the previous chase. Bowling might be a concern and Wahab is their only main bowler but he is not getting quality support from another end. Peshawar have the best combination of experience and they are favourites tonight. In the last five encounters, Karachi have won three games but recently, Peshawar had the final laugh in the league-stage game. Pitch Behaviour Abu Dhabi’s track is now slightly getting better for the batting and it still have an advantage for the spin. It will be the second game in a row so we might see a score of 150-160. Chasing would be a good call but it might be tougher. Probable XI Peshawar Kamran Akmal (WK), Haider Ali, Shoaib Malik, David Miller, Rovman Powell, Sherfane Rutherford, Fabian Allen, Wahab Riaz (C), Umaid Asif, Mohammad Imran, Mohammad Irfan Karachi Sharjeel Khan, Babar Azam, Martin Guptill, Najibullah Zadran, Chadwick Walton (wk), Danish Aziz, Imad Wasim (C), Mohammad Ilyas, Noor Ahmad, Mohammad Amir, Arshad Iqbal Fantasy Picks Peshawar Kamran Akmal Shoaib Malik Wahab Riaz Karachi Babar Azam Danish Aziz Noor Ahmad You can Play Pak T20 Fantasy League 2021 on MyTeam11 and get exciting winnings. Quetta will meet Peshawar in an important game of Pak T20 League 2021 tonight. It’s a do-die game for Sarfaraz’s troops as if they lose this game, they will find themselves in an elimination chamber. This season has been a nightmare for Quetta as they lost five games out of six. In the Karachi leg, they lost four games out of five and now, they started the Abu Dhabi leg with a defeat. The worst thing is, they lost the game in a bad manner which will make more problems for this side to get the playoffs qualification.
In last night's encounter, Quetta bowled out on just 133 and Weatherald scored 43 for them. Bowling was more disappointing than batting and Islamabad chased down the total in just 10 overs. Now the NRR has been so poor for Quetta and they now have just two points with four games in hand. They can reach a maximum of 10 points which might help them to finish in the top four but first, they have to overcome Peshawar who are also coming off two back-to-back defeats. Peshawar will be back after a disappointing defeat to Lahore by just 10 runs. With four more games to go, they can also not afford defeat here because Multan may surpass them on Sunday if Rizwan’s side wins one more game. After winning three out of the first four games in Karachi, Peshawar suffered two consecutive defeats. Their bowlers made a good start by picking 4 early wickets but they failed to take it as an advantage because Ben Dunk and Tim David revived Lahore to get 170. Peshawar lost their openers early in the first two overs. Malik fought alone with a quality knock of 73 off 48 balls but he didn’t get the support from another end. Peshawar has to change its attitude in batting. They couldn’t deliver against the spin and Rashid claimed a fifer for Lahore. Wahab can drop Either Powell or Allen from the XI. Pitch Behaviour Abu Dhabi’s track is a decent T20 track. After consecutive games on the same pitch, it might favour the bowlers more. The track will get slow later as the match progresses. Chasing would be a tricky call after winning the toss. 160 would be a competitive total on this track. Probable XI Peshawar Kamran Akmal (wk), Haider Ali, Shoaib Malik, David Miller, Umaid Asif, Rovman Powell, Sherfane Rutherford, Fabian Allen, Wahab Riaz (c), Mohammad Irfan, Mohammad Imran Quetta Faf du Plessis, Usman Khan, Jake Weatherald, Sarfaraz Ahmed (c & wk), Azam Khan, Mohammad Nawaz, Jack Wildermuth, Mohammad Hasnain, Khurram Shahzad, Zahid Mahmood, Naseem Shah Fantasy Picks Quetta Faf du Plessis Andre Russell Peshawar Shoaib Malik Fabian Allen You can Play Pak T20 Fantasy Sports on MyTeam11 and get exciting winnings.
